SNORKELLING BY MNEMBA ISLAND

The Island of Zanzibar is considered the best scuba diving and snorkeling location in East Africa with Mnemba Island(1 hour boat ride away) providing the best spot. Many of the sites surrounding the Island are colorful and thriving, making for fun snorkeling at any time of year. Expect to see lion fish, moray eels, sting rays, and turtles swimming around the shallow as well as humpback dolphins while you are sailing to the Island.

You will be provided with masks and fins but you are able to use your own equipment. You will stay out for 5-6 hours, starting at 9 am. After snorkeling at Mnemba we provide a barbecue at nearly beach before we head back home under the power of the Dhow sail (wind permitting!).
